RIPng is the name given to the application of RIP to IPv6. RIPng is closely based on on IPv4 RIPv2, however some of the packet formatting has changed. This guide contains an introduction to the RIPng protocol and a basic RIPng configuration example. It is applicable to AlliedWare Plus products running version 5.4.4 or later.
