About the Plug-in
Allied Telesis StreamConnect integrates PoE switch management directly into Genetec Security Center, giving security operators and IT teams real-time visibility and control over their network infrastructure from a single pane of glass.
The plugin enables faster, more efficient security operations by providing convenient access to management functions for Allied Telesis Power over Ethernet (PoE) switches, such as:
- Discover exactly which switch port powers each camera
- Monitor real-time power usage per switch
- Allocate and manage power to individual ports as needed
- Remotely cycle PoE to reboot unresponsive cameras
- Restrict access to ports to prevent unauthorized access
Supported Devices
The plug-in integrates with the Genetec™ Security Center software version 5.13.2.0 or later. It is compatible with all AlliedWare Plus™ PoE-capable Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches running software version 5.5.4 or later.
